Experience

Software Engineering Intern - Textron, Hunt Valley, Maryland

  • Developed and integrated a sophisticated path planning algorithm to coordinate multi-agent tasks within autonomous software, optimized coordination of 200+ agents
  • Collaborated with 3 engineers to design new system architecture for multi-agent autonomy, defined comprehensive outlines for agent interactions with the autonomy software, resulted in reduced communication latency and improved memory efficiency
  • Implemented robust C/C++ applications for sending and receiving information via gRPC, and established a centralized MOOS database for all agents, ensured high-reliability data exchange and seamless coordination across all agents

Software Engineering Intern - Gentex Corporation, Zeeland, Michigan

  • Spearheaded a C++ data aggregation utility for project metrics, coupled with a responsive HTML user interface. Significantly reduced data access time and improved accessibility of project insights for product managers
  • Engineered a Python-based JIRA tool for company-wide tracking, managing 4-6 tasks per employee with proactive notifications for incomplete tasks, improving task completion efficiency

Undergraduate Research Assistant - Cavalier Autonomous Racing, Charlottesville, Virginia

  • Leveraged Machine Learning to enhance vehicle’s physics model for more accurate real-word representation, contributed to UVA’s record 171 mph run in Indy Autonomous Speed Trial
  • Created a Linear Regression model linking brake pressure and deceleration with 5% MSE, optimizing brake efficiency and directly reducing lap times by 3 seconds
